The Nature Conservancy of Canada has spent over $20-million buying farms in Norfolk and is turning the once productive agricultural fields into fields of weeds. The image above shows you the results in their targeted area. The image below is a few miles to the East on the Long Point Region Conservation Authority managed forests and clearly shows the slaughter taking place.
Only some 70 year old trees fit into the Nature Conservancy of Canada's forest plan. Those that do not are slaughtered. The Red Gates are the tell tale sign of NCC owning the property. In the back ground you can see the once productive farm field now becoming over grown.
